
Business Development Officer

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in existing and emerging markets.
- Develop and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform business strategy.
- Generate leads through networking, cold calling, events, and digital channels.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and pitches to potential clients or partners.
- Support contract negotiations and follow through to closing deals.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Sales teams to align messaging and offerings.
- Track and report on sales pipelines, progress against targets, and market feedback.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to represent the company.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and market conditions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a client-facing role
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to develop and maintain long-term professional relationships
- Proficient in CRM systems, sales tools, and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace
- Goal-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Experience in B2B or partnership development
- Familiarity with proposal writing and contract development
- Entrepreneurial mindset and proactive approach to problem-solving
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
