The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing the company's technology infrastructure, managing IT staff, ensuring data security, and aligning technology initiatives with business goals. This role requires both technical expertise and strong leadership skills to ensure efficient IT operations and support organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and mentor the IT team in daily operations and long-term projects.
  • Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and network systems.
  • Ensure data security, backup, and disaster recovery plans are in place and effective.
  • Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and procurement of technology resources.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and company policies.
  • Support digital transformation initiatives and identify opportunities for technology improvements.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide technical support and align IT with business needs.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend solutions for business efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in IT management or a similar leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, and systems administration.
  • Experience in cybersecurity, cloud solutions, and enterprise systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets, negotiate with vendors, and oversee IT projects.
  • Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CISSP, or Microsoft/AWS certifications are a plus.
