Senior Full Stack Developer

Scope of Work / Responsibilities

• Develop scalable and robust cloud-native solutions, ensuring the architecture adheres to best practices for cloud-native applications, including microservices, containerization, and serverless computing.
• Design and develop front-end and back-end components using modern frameworks and technologies. Implement APIs and integrate third-party services as required. Maintain high code quality through rigorous testing and peer code reviews.
• Set up and configure cloud infrastructure using platforms such as Azure, implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to automate deployment and scaling.
• Establish, oversee, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes, ensuring seamless integration and continuous delivery of new features and updates.
• Implement security best practices to safeguard data and applications while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Monitor and optimize application and infrastructure performance, leveraging caching, load balancing, and other techniques to enhance reliability and efficiency.
• Prepare comprehensive documentation for developed solutions, including architecture diagrams, runbooks, code comments, drop plans in Azure DevOps, capacity plans, and user guides.
• Provide training, product demonstrations, and technical support to the development team and stakeholders.
• Make architectural decisions, select frameworks, and define coding standards.
• Tackle complex and ambiguous technical challenges, lead technical discussions, oversee testing strategies, propose innovative solutions, and ensure system resilience.
• Provide Level 2 production support to assess, analyze, recommend solutions, and resolve production incident tickets.
• Actively participate in all Agile GEMS team ceremonies and activities where developer involvement is required.
• Perform other services as required by the team and the ADB ITD supervisor or user unit.

Requirements and Qualifications (Education & Work Experience)

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in full stack development, with strong emphasis on cloud-native design and architecture.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality, scalable, and secure software solutions that meet project requirements and industry standards.
• Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and other data analysis and reporting tools.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Strong front-end development skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as , React, or Angular.

• Deep understanding of Azure cloud services, including Kubernetes, Docker, and serverless computing.
• Experience working with Azure Cosmos DB, including data modeling, partitioning, and querying using NoSQL or other supported APIs.
• Proficiency in API development and management, including authentication, authorization, and API Gateway strategies.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience using version control systems, particularly Git, and integrating with Azure Repos.
• Skilled in writing Terraform scripts to define and manage cloud infrastructure, including module creation, state management, and Azure provider configuration.
• Experience configuring build and release pipelines, with familiarity in YAML syntax for defining workflows.
• Proficient in Docker and Azure Container Registry for building and managing container images.
• Knowledgeable in deploying and managing containerized applications using Azure Container Apps.
• Understanding of Dapr building blocks such as state management, pub/sub messaging, and service invocation for microservices architecture.
• Skilled in creating and running test suites for APIs using Postman's automation and scripting capabilities.
• Experience developing serverless solutions with Azure Functions (e.g., JavaScript), integrating them with other Azure services.
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture using Azure Event Grid for event handling across services.
• Adequate UI/UX development and continuous improvement skills.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams, mentoring junior developers, and leading technical discussions.

Job Type: Fixed term

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: Php130, Php150,000.00 per month
