Your Role in the Spotlight

Be part of our client's team as a Bookkeeper, where you'll support the Finance Director and Finance Officer in managing the financial processes of the group. You will play a key role in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and smooth financial operations for an international events services leader.

What You Bring to the Table

• 4-5 years of bookkeeping experience
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Xero
• Background in a similar role
• Excellent data analysis and organizational skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to build and manage relationships
• Ability to solve problems independently
• Professional excellence that earns trust and respect

What You'll Be Doing

Deliverables

• Handle bookkeeping using Xero
• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Use Procim Budget Management Software
• Process staff expenses
• Perform bank reconciliation and manage petty cash
• Apply knowledge of UK VAT principles
• Liaise with auditors and Management Accountants
• Complete ad hoc tasks
• Bring accounts to Trial Balance

Client Relationships

• Forge trusting relationships with colleagues to ensure finance management requirements are understood and implemented
• Attend meetings and reviews as required
• Support the client success team by following client processes, procedures, SLAs, and strategies
• Identify opportunities for account growth

Other Responsibilities

• Contribute to internal meetings as appropriate
• Refine skills and attend regular training to deliver tasks effectively
• Stay updated on industry best practices and legal requirements
• Perform other reasonably required duties
