Job Description

As a Bookkeeper, you'll manage financial records, prepare reports, and ensure accuracy across every transaction. You'll collaborate with accountants and CPAs to deliver insights that guide client success-turning numbers into meaningful business stories.

The Qualifications We Seek

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2-4 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a client-service or multi-entity environment.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and NetSuite, with hands-on experience preparing journal entries.
• Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data and financial reports.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Professional, client-focused demeanor with proven ability to build strong working relationships.

Your Daily Tasks

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client financial transactions, including invoices, receipts, payments, and expenses.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other ledgers to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Prepare and post journal entries, adjusting entries, accruals, and reclassifications as needed.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis; provide actionable insights into client financial performance and position.
• Collaborate with CPAs and tax professionals by providing schedules, supporting documentation, and analysis.
• Serve as a point of contact for client inquiries, providing clear communication and building trusted relationships.
• Contribute to process improvements and system efficiencies, particularly in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and NetSuite.
• Perform additional accounting and finance tasks as assigned.
