Job Description

As a Loan Processor, you will manage a dynamic loan pipeline, ensuring every application meets compliance standards, investor guidelines, and deadlines. You'll be the vital link between clients, underwriters, and vendors, ensuring smooth processing and an exceptional borrower experience.

The Qualifications We Seek

• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in the residential mortgage lending field
• At least 1 year of customer service experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Strong basic computer skills
• Experience with upfront disclosures and redisclosures (TRID)
• Background in processing and reviewing/satisfying underwriting conditions

Your Daily Tasks

• Manage a pipeline of loans and submit 2-3 loans daily to underwriting
• Process residential mortgage loans in compliance with investor and government guidelines
• Provide technical support to loan officers and ensure deadlines are met
• Coordinate with escrow, appraisers, vendors, and customers for smooth loan processing
• Prepare loan disclosures in accordance with federal regulations
• Review credit documents, appraisals, and title reports for accuracy and completeness
• Identify and resolve discrepancies within loan files and perform final credit analysis
• Prepare final 1003/1008 and submission forms for underwriting
• Maintain weekly tracking reports for all assigned loans
• Support other areas of mortgage operations as needed
• Participate in industry-related training and educational programs
• Adhere to all company policies and compliance standards
