Job Summary

The Coffee Barista is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee and beverages while ensuring excellent guest service. This role supports café operations through consistent beverage preparation, product knowledge, and attention to detail in presentation, cleanliness, and guest interaction. The Barista also assists in inventory management and contributes to sales through upselling and guest engagement.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and specialty beverages according to company recipes and standards.
  • Provide excellent guest service, ensuring a welcoming and engaging café experience.
  • Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, and brewing equipment.
  • Monitor inventory levels for café supplies and report needs to the Supervisor.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the café, workstations, and equipment.
  • Accurately process guest transactions, handle cash/QR payments, and issue receipts.
  • Upsell café items, recommend pairings, and promote specials to increase revenue.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Assist in café opening, closing, and shift handover procedures.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance product knowledge and service skills.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent; barista training or certification preferred
  • At least 3 years' barista experience in cafés and restaurants in La Union
  • Knowledge of specialty coffee, latte art, and brewing techniques preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and guest-oriented mindset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php Php468.00 per day
