JOB SUMMARY:

Barista/Cashier is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee, beverages, and food items while ensuring efficient cashiering and customer service. This role handles payment transactions accurately, maintains store cleanliness, supports inventory management, and delivers a warm, positive customer experience.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Barista Duties & Beverage Preparation

• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and specialty beverages according to company recipes and standards.
• Operate coffee machines and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure beverage consistency, proper presentation, and quality at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, tools, and equipment.

2. Cashiering & Transaction Processing

• Process customer purchases accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments, ensuring accuracy in transactions and proper change.
• Issue official receipts, refunds, or exchanges according to company policies.
• Balance the cash drawer and prepare accurate sales reports at the end of each shift.

3. Store Operations & Inventory Management

• Assist in monitoring inventory levels and report low-stock items to the Store Manager.
• Support product restocking, proper display, and organization of store merchandise.
• Maintain a clean and orderly cashier station.

4. Compliance & Security

• Follow company policies on cash handling, safety, and loss prevention.
• Comply with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Support co-workers and participate in team meetings and training.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: At least a high school graduate; vocational or college-level education in hospitality or related field is an advantage.

Experience: Preferably with 1–2 years of experience as a barista, cashier, or in the food and beverage/retail industry.

Skills:

• Knowledge of coffee preparation and use of coffee equipment.
• Proficiency in using POS systems
• Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills for cash handling.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Basic selling and upselling skills.

NOTE: Successful candidates will be assigned to our 2nd branch in GREENHILLS, SAN JUAN CITY.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: Php19, Php20,000.00 per month
