What you'll be doing

  • Manage and coordinate the barista team, including scheduling, training, and performance management
  • Ensure high standards of customer service and maintain a welcoming, professional atmosphere in the coffee bar
  • Prepare and serve a range of specialty coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages to hotel guests and visitors
  • Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee bar area
  • Collaborate with the wider hotel team to support the overall guest experience
  • Actively seek opportunities to improve operational efficiency and enhance the coffee bar offerings

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a barista or in a similar customer-facing role within the hospitality industry
  • Strong knowledge of coffee and espresso-based beverages, including preparation techniques and flavour profiles
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to provide a warm, friendly, and attentive experience
  • Proven leadership and team management experience, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and holidays
