About the role

We are seeking an experienced Biomedical Engineer to join our growing team at We Hope Medical Clinic. As a Biomedical Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our medical equipment and devices. This full-time position is based in our Metro Manila office and will play a crucial role in supporting our healthcare professionals and delivering excellent patient care.

What you'll be doing

  1. Providing expert technical support and maintenance for our medical equipment and devices
  2. Conducting regular inspections and preventive maintenance to identify and address any issues
  3. Collaborating with our medical staff to understand their needs and requirements for equipment and technology
  4. Researching and evaluating new medical technologies and making recommendations for upgrades or replacements
  5. Ensuring all medical equipment and devices comply with relevant safety and regulatory standards
  6. Documenting and maintaining detailed records of all equipment maintenance and repairs
  7. Providing training and support to clinical staff on the proper use and care of medical equipment

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Biomedical Engineer in a healthcare setting
  3. Strong technical expertise in the operation, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of medical equipment and devices
  4. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve equipment issues
  5. Proficient in interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and safety protocols
  6. Familiarity with relevant medical equipment regulations and quality standards
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with medical staff
  8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
