Biomedical Technician

About the role

SVT Meditech Corporation is seeking an experienced Biomedical Technician to join our team in Project 8 Quezon City Metro Manila. As a Biomedical Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair and calibration of a range of medical equipment, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our healthcare facilities. This is a full-time position.

What you'll be doing

1. Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a variety of medical devices and instruments
2. Calibrate and test equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards
3. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities
4. Collaborate with clinical staff to identify and address equipment-related issues
5. Provide training and support to users on the proper operation of medical equipment
6. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in biomedical technology and best practices
7. Assist with the procurement and installation of new medical equipment

What we're looking for

1. Diploma or degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field
2. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
3. Proficient in the use of diagnostic and calibration equipment
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clinical staff
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
6. Familiarity with medical equipment maintenance protocols and safety regulations
