ABOUT THE ROLE

As our AP Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting our internal accounting function primarily with accounts payable reporting into the Firm Accounting Manager. This position is full-time and requires a high level of organization, professionalism, and initiative.

WORK SCHEDULE: US PST hours

POSITION TYPE: Full-time, Night Shift

WORK ARRANGEMENT: Remote, occasional office shifts when needed

YOUR MISSION

  • Assists in financial activities such as accounts receivable and accounts payable

  • Monitors accounting inbox and appropriately actions and/or follows up on emails

  • Processes credit card transactions and expense reports

  • Assists with compliance items including but not limited to: expanded withholding tax, value added tax, BIR forms 0619E, 1601EQ, 1604E, 2550Q VAT

  • Assists with special accounting projects as needed

  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management

PREFERRED SUPERPOWERS

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting required, CPA or Chartered Accountant a plus

  • Minimum of 5 years professional accounts payable experience strongly preferred

  • Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple competing priorities

  • Self-directed and hands-on, able to work with minimal supervision

  • Excellent communication and writing skills required

  • Acute attention to detail

  • Have a desire to learn

  • High-speed internet connection

  • Team player, go getter

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) required, Quickbooks and are a plus
