About the Role
The Business Development Manager will play a vital role in expanding Vertigrow Systems Inc.'s market presence by identifying new business & sales opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving sustainable growth. This role requires a visionary leader with strong experience in business development, particularly within the manufacturing and construction industries. The BDM will collaborate closely with the owner and founder to explore new markets, enhance customer relationships, and create strategies that align with the company's long-term objectives.
Job Description:
Partner closely with the owner and founder in executing growth and expansion objectives.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including new markets, clients, and strategic partnerships.
Develop and implement business development strategies and action plans aligned with company goals.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support informed decision-making.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
Lead negotiations, contracts, and agreements to secure profitable deals.
Collaborate with teams to ensure alignment of growth initiatives.
Monitor and analyze business performance, providing accurate reports and recommendations to management.
Represent the company at industry events, networking opportunities, and trade exhibitions to promote brand visibility.
Take initiative in decision-making and problem-solving to drive business growth and sustainability.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or any related 4-year course (MBA or advanced degree is an advantage).
At least 10 years of professional & sales experience, with a minimum of 6 years in business development, sales, or strategic growth roles.
Proven track record in identifying opportunities, securing partnerships, and driving business growth.
Experience in the manufacturing or construction industry is preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
High energy, dynamic, results-oriented, and capable of building strong networks (athletic or sporty demeanor is a plus).
Proficient in Microsoft Office and business sales reporting.
Willing to travel nationwide when required.
Driver's License is an advantage but not required.
Compensation:
Salary Range: Php 50,000.00 – Php 100,000.00 per month
