Job Description
As a Finance Officer, you will manage end-to-end financial operations, from invoicing and reconciliation to reporting and month-end processes. You will support global renewable energy workflows, ensure accuracy across financial records, and strengthen the integrity of finance systems that drive large-scale clean energy initiatives.

The Qualifications We Seek
- 5+ years in a senior finance, bookkeeping or assistant accountant role
- Australian bookkeeping experience (mandatory)
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business (mandatory)
- Advanced Xero capability, including troubleshooting and error correction
- Strong reconciliation capability (bank, AR, AP, stock, GL)
- Intermediate-advanced Excel (XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, pivots, data cleaning)
- High accuracy with high processing speed
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Initiative, ownership, and ability to work to deadlines independently
- Ability to manage multi-step financial workflows
Preferred:
- Experience in solar, construction, electrical, utilities, or field service industries
- Experience with BAS principles, GST rules, payroll inputs
- CPA/CA qualification (essential)
- Inventory, intercompany transactions, high volume transactions

Your Daily Tasks
- Customer invoicing, warranty invoicing, and finance submissions
- STC sale invoicing and reconciliation
- Purchase order and bill creation for contractors and wholesalers
- Weekly bill preparation and payment pack creation
- Daily bank reconciliations
- Accounts receivable and accounts payable reconciliation
- Monthly closing stock reconciliation for PV and STCs
- General ledger review and correction
- Month-end reporting pack preparation
- Commission calculations for sales teams
- Electrical allowance calculations for payroll
- Debtor management and proactive follow-up
- Supplier rebates and commission management
- Management of invoices@ mailbox
- Industry and compliance reporting
- Process improvement and automation of finance workflows
- Preparation of quarterly apprenticeship subsidy claims
