Your Role

As an employee of Offshore Launch, you are being hired for a unique role within a target Client's company. We value long-term partnerships, and seek to recruit talent that will serve an individual Client's business for multiple years.

You will work full-time with the Client company. However, the Agency provides ongoing support to ensure your continued success. As such, we create space for ongoing check-ins, feedback and development through:

  • Membership in the Offshore Launch Slack workspace
  • Bi-weekly All Team meetings
  • Monthly reviews

About the Client

Client is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and Apple & Microsoft training and support company. We provide creative tech solutions and practical strategies for everyday business challenges. We are seeking a Publishing and Admin Assistant to support our leadership team with publishing projects, PowerPoint template conversions, and marketing operations. This role is ideal for someone who is highly detail-oriented, technologically fluent, and confident working across Microsoft Office, QuickBooks (basic familiarity), and AI tools.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with book publishing projects, including document formatting in Microsoft Word.
  • Generate and insert QuickBooks screenshots as needed.
  • Prepare manuscripts for submission, ensuring consistency with publisher requirements.
  • Proofread, format, and maintain publishing documents to a professional standard.
  • Convert existing PowerPoint decks into updated templates using master slides and automation.
  • Support branding initiatives by applying company-wide formatting and design updates.
  • Assist with social media posting and newsletter preparation aligned with brand voice.
  • Use ChatGPT and other AI tools to draft posts and content.
  • Support ad hoc projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word (long document formatting).
  • Working knowledge of PowerPoint with ability to apply master templates.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks (basic navigation).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong self-proofreading skills, with AI tools as backup.
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable with web-based platforms.
  • Mac experience is desirable, though a PC background is acceptable.
