
Human Resource Officer

The HR - Human Relations & Compliance Officer will be the strategic bridge between employees and management. This role ensures that policies, culture, and compliance are aligned with both Philippine labor laws and MediWalk's core values.
Key Responsibilities
HR & Regulatory Compliance
Draft, review, and enforce HR policies aligned with DOLE, BIR, and statutory requirements.
- Oversee compliance with SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, HMO, and MediWalk standards.
- Serve as custodian of HR records, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and proper retention.
Prepare for and represent the company in compliance audits, DOLE inspections, or hearings.
Data Privacy & Confidentiality
Ensure HR processes comply with RA Data Privacy Act of 2012).
- Act as focal point for data privacy concerns related to employee records, psychometrics, performance evaluations, and patient-related HR processes.
- Draft and enforce data privacy guidelines, including access controls and secure storage of sensitive employee data.
- Conduct data privacy orientations for staff and monitor adherence.
Work closely with management on incident reporting, breach protocols, and risk mitigation.
Employee Engagement & Relations
Conduct regular check-ins, pulse surveys, and group feedback sessions.
- Mediate conflicts fairly and consistently, ensuring due process and proper documentation.
Champion recognition programs and engagement activities (Midyear, Year-End, Team Building, etc.).
Training & Development
Lead training needs assessments and develop the annual training calendar.
- Facilitate onboarding, compliance training, and values orientation.
- Coordinate external certifications and technical/leadership learning opportunities.
Track and evaluate training effectiveness.
Strategic HR & Analytics
Prepare HR dashboards (attrition, engagement, compliance rates, training completion).
- Provide workforce insights to management, supporting strategic planning.
- Drive initiatives that link employee success to MediWalk's mission and growth strategy.
Qualifications
- Graduate of BS Psychology, Human Resource Management, or related course.
- Licensed Psychometrician preferred, but not required.
- Minimum 3–5 years of progressive HR experience in employee relations, compliance, or HR operations.
- At least 2–3 years of HR experience with strong compliance and documentation background.
- Knowledge of Philippine Labor Code, DOLE regulations, and Data Privacy Act (RA
- Strong organizational skills; meticulous with policies, records, and reports.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to balance employee advocacy and organizational needs.
