Pre-Sales Technical Engineer

As a Senior Pre‑Sales Technical Engineer (5‑10 years of experience), you will lead technical engagements across the sales lifecycle. You will partner with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Operations to craft high‑value networking solutions for enterprise customers. Your deep technical knowledge and hands‑on experience will enable you to design and propose architectures, deliver POCs / pilot projects, address complex customer requirements, and ensure alignment between what is proposed and what can be delivered.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Network, or Information Technology (or related field)
- 5‑10 years in technical roles such as pre‑sales, solution design, or systems engineering. Experience in enterprise & large‑scale infrastructure settings.
- Networking & Telecom: In-depth knowledge of MPLS, VPNs, IP routing & switching (BGP, OSPF), optical transport (DWDM/CWDM), fiber, wireless, SDN/NFV, cloud interconnect, QoS, latency/reliability, and network security.
- Solar/Renewable Energy: Solid understanding of photovoltaic (PV) systems, inverters, energy storage, grid interconnection, and site assessments.
- Familiarity with solar design/simulation tools (e.g., PVsyst, Helioscope, SAM), CAD or drawing tools, single-line diagrams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to explain technical topics clearly to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Proficient in presentations and negotiations; comfortable working with customers, internal teams, and regulatory bodies.
- Certifications such as CCNP/CCIE, vendor certifications in optics/wireless/solar.
- Experience with emerging technologies like 5G/LTE, IoT, Edge/MEC, network slicing.
