Customer Requirement Analysis
- Understand Customer Needs : Collaborate with the sales team to meet with potential clients and understand their technical requirements, challenges, and objectives.
- Solution Tailoring : Work with clients to gather detailed information about their current environment, workflows, and pain points, ensuring the proposed solution meets their specific needs.
- Conduct Technical Assessments : Perform technical assessments or audits of customers’ existing systems or infrastructure to understand the gaps and opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct Demos and Presentations : Lead product or service demonstrations for potential customers, showcasing key features, functionalities, and benefits that align with their requirements.
- Technical Presentations : Create and deliver compelling technical presentations that explain how the company’s products, services, or solutions can solve customer challenges and add value.
- Proof of Concept (POC) : Develop and deliver Proof of Concept (POC) presentations or pilot programs to demonstrate the practical application of the solution to prospective clients.
- Solution Design : Assist in designing the technical architecture or configuration of the proposed solution based on customer requirements and product capabilities.
- Proposal Preparation : Collaborate with the sales team to develop and customize technical proposals, ensuring that the proposed solutions meet customer needs and align with business objectives.
- RFP/RFI Response : Support the sales team in responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) or Requests for Information (RFIs) by providing technical input, product specifications, and design recommendations.
- Answer Technical Queries : Act as the primary point of contact for answering any technical questions or concerns that arise during the sales process, helping customers understand the product’s technical aspects.
- Coordinate with Product Teams : Work closely with the product development, engineering, or R&D teams to address any technical issues or product customization requests during the sales process.
- Provide Feasibility and Risk Assessments : Help assess the technical feasibility of the solution and identify any potential risks or limitations related to the customer’s infrastructure or business environment.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field is typically required.
- Advanced certifications or training in specific technologies.
- 1-2 years of experience in pre-sales support, technical sales, or a related field.
- Experience with customer-facing technical roles or solution architecture is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with the company’s product offerings or similar technologies in the industry.
