Matador Lending is a fast-growing mortgage company focused on providing innovative loan solutions for borrowers and a best-in-class work environment for our loan officers. As we expand, we are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Remote Loan Officer Recruiter to join our team.

This position is open to international candidates who have proven experience in outbound recruitment and are comfortable working during U.S. Central Time Zone hours (approx. 9 AM – 6 PM CST).

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Recruiter to identify, attract, and hire top-producing loan officers for our team, and any other positions we are hiring for.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in recruitment, preferrably in mortgage lending, real estate, financial services, or sales-focused industries.

The role requires a self-driven recruiter with strong skills in outbound calling, email outreach, and social media recruitment to build and maintain a pipeline of qualified loan officer candidates.

This is a full-time, remote position requiring 100% availability during U.S. business hours (Central Time).

Key Responsibilities

Candidate Sourcing & Outreach

• Actively search for, engage, and recruit loan officers through outbound calling, emailing, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms.
• Maintain and grow a database of potential recruits, developing long-term relationships.
• Conduct outbound calls per day to potential loan officer candidates.
• Use email marketing, LinkedIn messaging, and automated outreach tools to maximize engagement.
• Identify top talent through networking, referrals, and online job boards.

Screening & Hiring Process

• Conduct initial phone screenings to evaluate candidate qualifications and interest.
• Educate candidates on the benefits of joining Matador Lending.
• Collaborate with leadership to review and interview top candidates.
• Guide candidates through the recruitment process, ensuring a smooth and professional experience.

Collaboration & Reporting

• Work closely with the sales leadership team to understand hiring goals and priorities.
• Provide weekly reports on recruitment activity, outreach progress, and hiring metrics.
• Continuously refine and improve recruitment strategies based on feedback and performance data.

Qualifications & Skills

Required:

3-5 years of experience in recruiting, preferably in mortgage lending, real estate, financial services, or sales-driven industries.

Strong experience in outbound calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn/social media recruitment.

Ability to work full-time during U.S. business hours (Central Time Zone).

Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience using CRM systems, ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems), and recruitment platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, ZipRecruiter).

Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a track record of hitting recruitment targets.

Preferred:

• Previous experience recruiting in the mortgage, finance, or sales industry.
• Familiarity with loan officer roles, licensing requirements, and mortgage compensation structures.
• Knowledge of automated recruitment and marketing tools.
• A network of loan officer contacts is a plus.
