Pod Plug is transforming the nightlife industry with smart vending machines designed for clubs, bars, events, and entertainment venues. Our machines provide high-demand convenience items, vapes, chargers, hygiene products, and fun essentials to keep the party going.

We are expanding rapidly across the U.S. through a fast-growing franchising model. As demand accelerates, we're building a strong internal team to support our growth, and we're looking for a proactive, organized HR / Recruiter to help us scale.

Position Overview

As Pod Plug's HR / Recruiter, you will manage the full-cycle recruitment process for our expanding team. You will be responsible for sourcing candidates, coordinating interviews, screening applicants, and supporting onboarding. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, loves connecting with people, and is highly organized in managing talent pipelines.

You'll work closely with company leadership to understand hiring needs and build a recruitment engine that ensures we bring in top talent to support our franchise expansion and operations.

Key Responsibilities

Recruiting & Talent Acquisition

  • Source, attract, and screen candidates for multiple roles across Pod Plug.
  • Conduct initial interviews to assess communication skills, professionalism, and role fit.
  • Manage a structured hiring process, ensuring a smooth experience for all applicants.
  • Prepare and post job descriptions on hiring platforms and social channels.
  • Build and maintain a healthy candidate pipeline to meet ongoing hiring targets.

Interview Coordination

  • Schedule interviews with leadership and department heads.
  • Maintain organized calendars, reminders, and follow-ups.
  • Track candidate progress through each stage of the hiring funnel.

HR Support & Documentation

  • Assist with onboarding new hires, including documentation, setup, and orientation.
  • Maintain accurate hiring records, candidate notes, and tracking PTOs.
  • Support the development of hiring criteria, process improvements, and HR best practices.

Pipeline & Systems Management

  • Update candidate information in the CRM/ATS.
  • Log interview summaries, feedback, and next steps.
  • Use tools like Google Suite, spreadsheets, and communication platforms to stay organized.

Who We're Looking For

Experience & Skills

  • 2+ years experience in HR, recruiting, or talent acquisition.
  • Remote hiring experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and professional presence on calls.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage high-volume pipelines.
  • Tech-savvy with experience in CRM/ATS systems (Indeed, LinkedIn, etc)

  • Reliable, proactive, and self-directed.
  • Comfortable navigating fast-changing priorities in a startup environment.
  • Friendly, approachable, and skilled at building rapport with candidates.
  • High level of integrity and discretion when handling candidate information.
