Work Setup: 100% Remote / Independent Contractor

Schedule: 12-hour shifts (weekends)

We are currently looking for an independent contractor to cover the following rosters:

Option 1:

  • Friday, 9:00 PM – Saturday, 9:00 AM
  • Saturday, 9:00 PM – Sunday, 9:00 AM

Option 2:

  • Saturday, 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
  • Sunday, 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM

(Additional weekday shifts may be available depending on the workload.)

About the Role

As an Independent Contractor for this part-time recruiter position, you'll play a critical role in supporting recruitment operations while working remotely. You will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and coordinating with candidates during your scheduled shifts, ensuring a smooth hiring process from start to finish. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a self-managed environment and has experience in recruitment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source & Screen Candidates: Utilize job boards, social media platforms, and internal databases to find and evaluate candidates.
  • Conduct Interviews: Assess candidate qualifications, cultural fit, and overall suitability for open roles.
  • Coordinate Interviews: Schedule and confirm interviews with clients and candidates, ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Maintain Candidate Records: Keep detailed records of candidate interactions, applications, and interview outcomes in the recruitment management system.
  • Collaborate with Clients: Communicate regularly with clients to understand their needs and provide timely updates on the recruitment process.
  • Provide a Positive Candidate Experience: Ensure a high level of professionalism and communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.

Qualifications

  • At least 1–2 years of experience in recruitment (agency or in-house).
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage candidates effectively.
  • Self-motivated and reliable, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Comfortable handling overnight or extended shifts in a remote setting.
  • Experience using online recruitment platforms (LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.) and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Reliable internet connection, Device, and a dedicated, quiet home workspace.
