Role: Recruitment Specialist (Full-Time, Remote)Role Summary
The Recruitment Specialist is a full-time remote position (approximately 180–200 hours per month) responsible for managing the end-to-end hiring process for a variety of global roles. This role focuses on sourcing and recruiting talent internationally – with particular emphasis on candidates from the Philippines, Colombia, and India – as well as filling key U.S.-based positions like Behavior Technicians (BT). The Recruitment Specialist will drive the full-cycle recruitment process (from requisition and sourcing to interviewing and onboarding) for both healthcare roles (e.g., Behavior Technicians) and operational positions across the organization. A successful candidate will have strong international recruitment experience, familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and a solid understanding of U.S. hiring practices and compliance requirements, ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Full-Cycle Global Recruitment: Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle for global positions across various departments, ensuring timely and effective hiring of qualified candidates.
- Preferred, but not required, Specialized Hiring (Behavior Technicians): Take ownership of recruitment for specialized healthcare roles, particularly Behavior Technician (BT) positions in the U.S. Work closely with clinical hiring teams to understand the qualifications (e.g., RBT certification, experience in ABA therapy) and recruit candidates who meet these specific requirements.
- International Talent Pipeline: Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline in targeted regions. Develop local recruitment channels, partnerships, and referral networks in the Philippines, Colombia, India, and other key areas to support ongoing staffing needs and diversity goals.
- Applicant Tracking System Management: Utilize the company's Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to its full capacity – posting jobs, tracking applicant status, and documenting feedback – ensuring data accuracy and leveraging the ATS for pipeline management and reporting on recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, source of hire, etc.).
- Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure all recruitment activities adhere to relevant labor laws and regulations. Maintain U.S. recruitment compliance (EEO guidelines, fair hiring practices, background check requirements, etc.) and uphold ethical recruiting standards across all international hiring processes.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with hiring managers, HR partners, and department leads across different time zones to align on hiring needs and expectations. Provide regular updates on recruitment progress and consult on market insights or adjustments to search strategies as needed.
- Candidate Experience: Drive a positive candidate experience by communicating promptly and professionally with all applicants. Guide candidates through the process (from application to offer), advocate for a smooth interview experience, and represent the company's values and culture in all interactions.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on global recruiting trends and new sourcing techniques. Recommend and implement improvements to recruitment strategies, tools, or processes (such as employer branding initiatives or referral programs) to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of hiring across all regions.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience, including significant exposure to international talent acquisition. Demonstrated success sourcing and hiring candidates in global markets – particularly in the Philippines, Colombia, and India – is required. Experience managing a high volume of requisitions and recruiting for roles across multiple departments or regions is highly valued.
- Specialized Recruiting: Proven experience recruiting for U.S.-based Behavior Technician (BT) roles or similar healthcare positions. Familiarity with the skills and certifications relevant to Behavior Technicians (e.g., RBT certification, experience with ABA or behavioral health) is a strong plus.
- ATS Proficiency: Hands-on proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment tools. Ability to efficiently utilize ATS platforms (e.g., Workday, Greenhouse, Taleo, or similar) to manage candidate pipelines, track progress, and generate recruitment reports. Comfort with technology and data-driven recruiting is expected.
- Knowledge of Hiring Practices: Solid understanding of U.S. hiring practices and recruitment compliance. Knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) guidelines, anti-discrimination laws, and other relevant employment regulations is essential. Demonstrated ability to conduct fair and unbiased hiring processes across different countries and cultures.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field is preferred (or equivalent professional experience). Additional HR or recruiting certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, AIRS certifications) are a plus but not required.
- Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to engage and persuade candidates. Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers globally. Cultural sensitivity and the ability to adapt communication style when working with candidates from diverse backgrounds.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities. Capable of juggling multiple open positions and tasks simultaneously, while maintaining attention to detail. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the flexibility to adjust strategies based on changing hiring needs or challenges.
- Self-Motivation: A self-driven and results-oriented mindset. Comfortable working independently in a remote setting, taking initiative to drive recruiting efforts forward, and being accountable for meeting hiring goals and deadlines. Ability to work flexible hours as needed to accommodate communication across different time zones.
