Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Staff Accountant to support financial operations for our residential home building projects. This role will be responsible for managing job costing, inventory control, budgeting, and project accounting to ensure accurate financial reporting and support the overall success of construction projects. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, construction industry knowledge, and the ability to collaborate closely with project managers, estimators, and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, monitor, and analyze budgets for residential construction projects.
  • Manage job costing by tracking labor, material, and subcontractor expenses against project budgets.
  • Oversee inventory management, including materials tracking, usage reporting, and reconciliation.
  • Perform project accounting, ensuring accurate allocation of costs and revenue recognition.
  • Generate financial reports to support project managers and leadership in decision-making.
  • Reconcile vendor invoices, purchase orders, and subcontractor payments to ensure accuracy.
  • Monitor cash flow and forecast project-related expenditures.
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements related to projects.
  • Collaborate with operations and procurement teams to control costs and improve efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3+ years of accounting experience in construction or residential home building (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of job costing, project accounting, and inventory control.
  • Proficiency in accounting software
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php85, Php95,000.00 per month
