Job Summary:

The HR Assistant shall primarily be responsible for supporting the various department services with special focus on administrative assistance for employee services and logistics staff work for employee events and welfare programs.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  1. Administer/Monitor, process and prepare time-keeping reports.
  2. Processes and prepares benefits reports; facilitates timely and accurate utilization of services.
  3. Supports recruitment activities; provides end-to-end assistance and coordination.
  4. Provides logistics support to employee programs and events such as but not limited to:

    a. Culture building

    b. Employee training

    c. Formation development

    d. Foundation celebrations and commemorations like Christmas get-togethers and other thanksgiving

    observance

    e. General Assemblies or Town Halls
  5. Assists the HR team in providing employee welfare services related to:

    a. Health and wellness

    b. Cafeteria/Meals

    c. Dormitory
  6. Provides secretariat duties for employee relations or labor management services.
  7. Ensures completion, accuracy and safety of all employee records; maintains an updated HRIS/Employee Information System.
  8. Processes separation paperwork and assists separated employees receive their separation packages (e.g. retirement pay, last pay, etc.).
  9. Performs other related duties appropriate to the role, as required by foundation operations, and assigned by superiors.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of human resources management, behavioral science, psychology, business administration, management, or any social science, liberal arts, or humanities courses.
  • Must have background in recruitment, benefits administration, attendance management and training.
  • Must have knowledge and experience of ICT-based office applications and tools (word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, cloud-sharing platforms, etc.)
  • Experience in humanitarian, NGO, charity or government social welfare organizations is desirable.
  • Has advanced computer skills in Microsoft 365 applications and Google programs.
