Warehouse Supervisor – Ready Mix Concrete Company

Reports To: Accounting Manager, General Manager, and directly to the President

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to oversee our warehouses across our three batching plants in Binan, Malvar, and Silang. Familiarity with truck parts for transit mixers, pumpcretes, and dump trucks is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the daily activities of warehouse staff to ensure proper and efficient storage, handling, and retrieval such that truck parts and other equipment are easily accessible and protected from damage or deterioration.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records.
  • Oversee the correct labeling and tagging of inventory for easy identification and traceability.
  • Conduct routine inspections of warehouse inventory to identify any discrepancies.
  • Prepare regular reports on stock levels, usage/issuance, and any discrepancies or damages.
  • Work closely with the procurement and operations teams to ensure adequate stock levels for smooth plant operations. Implement control practices to minimize both loss and overstock.
  • Lead and coordinate the annual and quarterly inventory counting.
  • Ensure all warehouse processes are compliant with safety and quality standards and are followed by the warehouse staff, such that the warehouse is always clean, organized, and free from hazards.
  • Regularly review and improve the warehouse layout for better space utilization and workflow efficiency.
  • Lead, train, and develop warehouse staff.

Qualifications:

  • Required: At least 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Highly desirable: familiarity with truck parts, specifically for transit mixers, pumpcretes, and dump trucks.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Good understanding of safety procedures and regulations related to warehouse operations.
  • Proficient in record-keeping, reporting, and data analysis.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field is a plus.
