Position Overview
The Driver is responsible for providing timely, compliant and safe execution of services across all Crown operations. The Driver is responsible for overall operation of company vehicles in delivering and retrieving of client's assets like, but not limited to, records, documents, household goods, office equipment, properties and various other items.
The Driver works closely with their Supervisor and might be involved in supervision of other drivers, company vehicles maintenance, and participate in different time slots when called upon.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
General Tasks
- Work with the Planning & Dispatch Officer/Supervisor on the scheduled jobs.
- Complete paperwork accurately and efficiently and submit to Operations office or others, as appropriate
- Ensure that all vehicle related reporting is completed in a timely manner
- Drive defensively and handle all types of road conditions
- Conduct a daily general maintenance check of the truck and clean the vehicle
- Carry out basic vehicle maintenance
- Ensure safe delivery of goods
- Perform pre and mid trip vehicle and security inspections
- Provide high quality customer service.
- Estimate weight to comply with load limitations and ensure safe distribution of weight
- Ensure the load is correctly placed and secured to avoid any damage to the truck or goods
- Assist in unloading and loading of goods
- Contribute to a safe and healthy work environment by reporting all accidents, near misses and hazards, avoid unsafe practices at work.
Customer Service
- Provide excellent customer service by completing all jobs in a timely and compliant manner, and directly coordinating with the customer to address immediate concerns when necessary.
- Immediately escalate any issue to the Supervisor which cannot be resolved to ensure customer complaints and concerns are quickly addressed.
- Take responsibility and accountability for the security, protection, confidentiality and integrity of the items in the vehicle during transit.
Corporate Social Responsibility
- Support the company CSR commitment and goals.
- Utilising and encouraging environmentally sustainable practices, including:
- Recycling boxes and packaging materials wherever possible
- Reducing natural resource (water, energy, fuel, paper) whenever practical
Other
- Complete other duties as directed by the Operations / Warehouse Manager.
- Demonstrate and promote the company vision and values.
Aptitude, Knowledge and Qualifications
Aptitude
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ensure tasks are completed within timelines to a high degree of accuracy and professionalism.
- Solution oriented approach to problem solving and decision making.
Professional Knowledge and Skills
- Thorough understanding of and willingness to adhere to local road / traffic rules.
- Fluency in local language and English written language.
Qualifications
- Valid Drivers License
- At least 2 years Industry Experience
- At least 2 years experience in driving light goods, medium goods or heavy goods vehicles
