Warehouse Supervisor

  • The Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily warehouse operations within a food-processing or food-distribution facility, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant handling, storage, and movement of food products. This role ensures adherence to food safety standards , coordinates staff, manages inventory accuracy, and supports smooth inbound/outbound logistics.

Job Description:

· Supervise receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of all food products.

· Ensure compliance with FIFO/FEFO, temperature control, and product integrity standards.

· Monitor workflow to ensure timely order fulfillment and minimal downtime.

· Coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to maintain optimal inventory flow.

· Maintain accurate stock levels through regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks.

· Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.

· Oversee proper labeling, traceability, and segregation of allergen or sensitive products.

· Conduct hygiene inspections, pest-control checks, and sanitation verification.

· Enforce proper handling of chilled, frozen, and ambient products.

· Respond to quality deviations, product damages, or temperature excursions.

· Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff, including pickers and loaders.

· Plan daily staffing schedules and monitor productivity.

· Conduct performance reviews and support continuous improvement.

· Ensure team adherence to safety protocols and operating procedures.

· Ensure compliance with company safety policies and statutory regulations.

· Oversee maintenance of warehouse equipment.

· Prepare reports on stock levels, dispatch accuracy, manpower productivity, and wastage.

· Maintain shipping/receiving documents, temperature logs, cleaning records, and compliance paperwork

Qualifications:

  • At least Vocational or College degree any bachelor degree or related field.

  • 2-3 years of warehouse experience. Preferably food processing/distribution

  • Previous experience leading a small team is an advantage.

-Additional certification in logistics, warehouse management, is an advantage.

  • Proficient in barcode scanners, and MS Office and aggregators (food panda, Grab food).

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and solve problems quickly.

  • High attention to detail and quality focus.

  • Ability to work under pressure and during peak seasons.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php25,000.00 per month
