Warehouse- Team Leader

  • The Warehouse Team Leader supports daily warehouse activities in a food manufacturing or distribution environment. This role leads a team of warehouse operatives, ensuring efficient receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of food products while maintaining strict food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.

Job Descriptions:

· Lead and coordinate warehouse staff during receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and dispatch operations.

· Ensure correct handling of chilled, frozen, dry, or allergen-specific food products.

· Monitor workflow and resolve operational bottlenecks.

· Implement FIFO/FEFO principles for all stock movements.

· Assign daily tasks to warehouse operatives and monitor productivity.

· Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety rules, and company policies.

· Motivate team members and maintain a positive work environment.

· Enforce strict compliance food safety standards.

· Ensure accurate labeling, proper packaging, and traceability of all products.

· Report quality issues, temperature deviations, product damages, or contamination risks immediately.

· Assist with cycle counts, stock checks, and inventory adjustments.

· Maintain accuracy of stock movements.

· Identify and report inventory discrepancies to the Warehouse Supervisor.

· Support incident reporting, hazard identification, and corrective actions.

· Report equipment malfunctions or facility issues promptly

· Maintain accurate records of received and dispatched shipments.

· Complete checklists, logs, and inventory forms as required.

· Provide daily updates to the Warehouse Supervisor/Plant manager on team performance and warehouse status.

Qualifications :

  • At least High School graduate

  • 1-2 years Warehouse Experience. Preferably food processing/distribution

  • Previous experience leading a small team is an advantage.

  • Basic computer skills (MS Excel, inventory systems).

  • Good leadership and communication abilities.

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure.

  • Familiarity with barcode scanning.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php18,000.00 per month
