The Plant Logistics Sec. Manager is responsible for the development and execution of strategic inbound routing plans and dynamic load planning using company assets and third-party common carriers. This position is a support function that works closely with scheduling, procurement, production, suppliers, and freight carriers. The position will include direct responsibility for all routing of inbound raw product freight, outbound finished goods deliveries via third party common carrier, and intercompany shipments.

  1. Supervise the work of Plant Logistics Operations Supervisors, Stock Analyst and Encoders

  2. Monitors Safety Stock Level of the inventory and communicate to Department Head any noted

discrepancy in the inventory

  1. Oversee inbound freight between trucking warehouse and transport department to ensure that the

depot has the right level of stocks

  1. Resolves inventory variance with the analyst to ensure continuous supply of inventory and to reduce

potential product liability

  1. Resolve problems concerning transportation, systems, or customer issues

  2. Ensures that warehouses and its premises are always kept orderly and clean

  3. Makes sure that company measures on cost reduction are observed and implemented

  4. Review regional depot reports for ways to improve efficiency or minimize performance deviations on

logistics operation

  1. Plan or implement improvements to internal or external logistics systems or processes.

  2. Develops programs to reduce delivery/routing cost and other logistics cost.

  3. Conducts monthly meetings with depot personnel to review monthly performance, develop programs

and clarify issues.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy/Commerce/Economics or any 4-year course preferably with units or a graduate of master's in business administration (MBA)
  • 3-5 years logistics experience at Supervisory/Managerial Level
  • Willing to assign at LIIP Mamplasan, Binan-Laguna
