Job Description: HR Officer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
  • Coordinate and support the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring that all necessary documentation, orientations, and training are completed.
  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring compliance with data protection and confidentiality requirements.
  • Track employee attendance, leave records, and absences, and ensure accurate payroll processing.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employees, addressing questions or concerns related to HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist in resolving employee conflicts, complaints, or issues, and escalate to senior HR staff when necessary.
  • Prepare HR reports and metrics for management, including headcount reports, turnover rates, and other employee-related data.
  • Maintain HR documentation, such as contracts, performance appraisals, and disciplinary records, in an organized and accessible manner.
  • Ensure that HR practices are compliant with relevant labor laws and company policies.
  • Help update and communicate HR policies to employees.
  • Assist in organizing company events, employee recognition programs, and team-building activities.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 0-6 months of experience in HR or administrative support, preferably in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with HR software and systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for dealing with employees, management, and external vendors.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Basic understanding of HR policies, employment laws, and benefits administration.
  • Willingness to learn and stay updated on HR best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Word).
