The Line Cook is responsible for preparing food items in accordance with the established menu of the assigned restaurant location. The role includes cooking a range of authentic Japanese dishes while maintaining high standards of food safety, quality, storage, and presentation.

Qualifications:

Education & Training:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Formal culinary training or certification is an advantage.
  • Food handling/safety certification (as required by local laws or health departments).

Experience:

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a line cook or kitchen staff, preferably in a Japanese or Asian cuisine restaurant.
  • Experience in preparing Japanese dishes such as sushi, sashimi, tempura, ramen, etc., is highly preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Knowledge of Japanese cooking techniques and ingredients.
  • Ability to follow recipes and plating guidelines precisely.
  • Strong understanding of kitchen hygiene, food safety, and storage standards.
  • Good knife skills and knowledge of kitchen equipment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php18, Php20,000.00 per month
