Job Title: HR Manager (upscale group of restaurants)

Reports to HR Vice President

Work Location: MOA, Pasay

Salary: Negotiable (DOE)

Job Summary:

The HR Manager will oversee the full spectrum of Human Resources for a group of upscale restaurants. The role is responsible for strategic planning, talent acquisition, employee relations, organizational development, and compliance with labor laws.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Strategic HR Leadership

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals and restaurant operations.
  • Partner with management to identify manpower needs and workforce planning.
  • Create policies and programs to support organizational culture, retention, and employee engagement.

Talent Acquisition & Development

  • Lead recruitment efforts for restaurant-level and management positions, ensuring candidates match the upscale service standards.
  • Implement training and development programs for staff and leaders, focusing on service excellence and career growth.

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Build strong employee relations and act as a mediator for conflict resolution.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture that reflects the company's brand values.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Oversee payroll, benefits, and rewards systems in coordination with Finance.
  • Ensure competitive compensation packages that attract and retain top talent.
  • Review and benchmark compensation against industry standards.

Compliance & Policies

  • Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws and government regulations.
  • Develop, update, and implement HR policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR reports.

Performance Management

  • Drive the performance appraisal system and provide guidance to managers.
  • Monitor and evaluate employee performance, providing coaching and development as needed.
  • Address underperformance fairly and legally.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years HR experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial or head role in the F&B / hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws, compliance, and HR best practices.
  • Proven experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, and organizational development.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php60,000.00 per month
