Job Summary

The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all products, materials, and processes meet the required quality standards and comply with project specifications, codes, and client requirements. The role involves implementing quality assurance processes, conducting inspections and tests, reviewing documentation, and maintaining overall quality performance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Quality Planning & Implementation
  • Develop and implement the project-specific Quality Plan, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and Method Statements.
  • Establish and maintain quality control procedures to ensure compliance with specifications and codes.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors for quality-related activities.
  • Inspection & Testing
  • Conduct inspections of materials, work in progress, and completed works to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
  • Supervise testing procedures and review test results for acceptance.
  • Identify non-conformances and ensure proper corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
  • Documentation & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate QA/QC documentation such as inspection records, test reports, material certificates, and NCRs.
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports to management and clients.
  • Ensure proper document control and traceability for all quality records.
  • Auditing & Continuous Improvement
  • Participate in internal and external quality audits.
  • Recommend and implement improvements in processes, materials, and procedures to enhance quality.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 or other applicable quality management systems.
  • Coordination
  • Liaise with construction, procurement, and engineering teams to address quality-related issues.
  • Attend site meetings and coordinate with clients' QA/QC representatives.

Job Type: Fixed term

Contract length: 3 months

Pay: Php20, Php40,000.00 per month
