QAQC Team Leader

JOB SUMMARY
A responsible team leader who closely supervises employees and responds promptly to QC members' inquiries and verification requests. Provides direction, instruction, and guidance to team members to ensure smooth and compliant operations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Quality & Operations Oversight
- Monitor members' compliance with established Work Instructions and General Working Rules.
- Carry out assigned workloads and shifting schedules as coordinated with the Supervisor.
- Ensure manpower attendance and timekeeping are monitored and reported daily.
- Provide initial disposition on items requiring product quality verification and ensure issues are reported to immediate superiors.
- Stop the process whenever quality issues or non-conformance to customer requirements are identified. Ensure affected batches are contained and shipments prevented.
- Support investigations on customer claims in coordination with QA and Production teams.
Training & Team Development
- Conduct training for new employees regarding workflows, working guidelines, and safety instructions.
- Communicate clear instructions to team members.
- Monitor members' performance and ensure they apply the training provided; determine if additional training is needed.
- Listen to member feedback and provide recommendations to Supervisors.
- Manage the day-to-day flow of operations.
- Subordinate Management
- Ensure members perform QC inspection processes properly and consistently.
- Ensure compliance with the company's Code of Conduct and disciplinary standards.
- Conduct and document employees' process performance reviews.
Management Responsibilities
- Maintain and safeguard confidential information and documents.
- Ensure the section's reporting requirements are submitted to the Supervisor on time.
- Initiate 5S, Health & Safety improvements, and other quality-related activities beneficial to the company.
Communication & Coordination
- Display professionalism and strong business ethics at all times.
- Communicate effectively with concerned sections, co-leaders, supervisors, and managers.
- Provide necessary and timely information across the organization.
- Attend cross-functional meetings, group meetings, or section meetings as required.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Education & Experience
- College graduate; technical course graduate is an advantage.
- At least two (2) years of group leadership experience, preferably in Quality Control or Quality Assurance in a manufacturing environment.
Competencies & Knowledge
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail; able to work in both office and production settings.
- Computer literate with presentation skills.
- Capable of working under pressure; mature in decision-making; highly organized.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
Working Conditions
- Responsibilities may require extended working hours as needed to meet system and customer requirements.
