JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible member who closely watches the employees and is the person who immediately response to QC members inquiries, verification request and provides direction, instructions and guidance to his/her members.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Responsible in looking after her member's compliance to identified Work Instructions and General Working Rules.
· Responsible to carry out the identified work load assignments and shifting schedules as coordinated to Supervisor
· Ensure Manpower attendance and time keeping is being monitored and reported in a daily basis.
· Initial member to give disposition on items requested for verification of product quality and ensure it is being reported to immediate superiors.
· Support in the investigation on customer claims in coordination with QA and Production members.
· Conducts training to new employees with regards to working guidelines, work flow and safety instructions to ensure member's compliance as they start their work officially.
· Manage the flow of day to day operations
· Communicate clear instructions to members
· Listen to team member's feedback and make necessary recommendation to Supervisors
· Monitor team member's participation to ensure training they are provided is being put into use, and also to see if any additional training is needed.
· Responsible to stop the process whenever there is a quality problem and other criteria that might fall to non-conformance in customer requirements and ensures that the affected batch must be contained and shipment to the customer prevented.
· Performs other duties as maybe assigned by superiors.
Subordinates:
· Make sure that members are in check if they are performing QC inspection process accordingly
· Ensure Compliance of members to employees code of conduct and discipline
· Establish employee's process performance review
Management :
· Ensure confidential information and documents are properly maintained and reported accordingly.
· Ensure that section's reportorial requirements are communicated to the supervisor
· Initiates 5S, Health and Safety improvement and other quality activities that can help the company.
Communication and Coordination
· Practices and maintains high level of professionalism and business ethics.
· Communicates effectively with all concern sections, co-leaders, supervisors and managers.
· Provides necessary information across organization.
· Attends to cross-functional meetings and other coordination as necessary.
· Attends group or section meeting as required and necessary
JOB SPECIFICATION
Education and Experience
College Graduate , Technical course graduate is an advantage
At least two (2) years group leadership experience and expertise in Quality Control and Quality Assurance acquired in the same manufacturing set-up.
Competencies and Knowledge
Analytical and detailed person, can work both in office and production set-up.
Computer Literate with presentation skills.
Competent and can work under pressure, matured in decision making and well organized.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Working Condition
Responsibilities may require extended time in response to the need of the system and customer requirements.
