  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices, terms, and delivery schedules for the company.
  • Evaluate suppliers based on quality and reliability, and ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies, standards, and project requirements.
  • Create, execute, and analyze contracts to maximize performance and minimize risk. Also involves managing ongoing relationships with suppliers.
  • Monitor deliveries and ensure that all procured materials and services arrive on time to meet production or project timelines.
  • Collaborate with project managers and site engineers to understand their needs and ensure they are met.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering course, such as Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Electronics, is typically required.
  • At least two years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related field is often necessary.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
  • Knowledge of the procurement lifecycle and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to evaluate technical specifications and understand market trends.
