The Procurement Engineer is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and purchasing materials, equipment, and services necessary for company operations and projects. This role ensures that all purchases meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements while maintaining compliance with company policies and industry standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review project plans and technical specifications to determine material requirements.
  • Develop procurement strategies based on project timelines and budgets.
  • Prepare procurement schedules and ensure alignment with construction milestones.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date purchasing files and records.
  • Encode and update supplier, product, and cost information in databases.
  • Communicate with suppliers/clients to request and send quotations, confirm orders, and follow up on deliveries.
  • Follow up on incomplete, delayed, or incorrect deliveries with suppliers.
  • Provide regular procurement reports and updates to management.
  • Negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery schedules with vendors.
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve any contract or delivery issues.
  • Identify and resolve documentation discrepancies or issues in coordination with relevant parties.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or any related field.
  • Proven experience in procurement within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, technical specifications, and sourcing strategies.
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and logistics management systems, and other productivity tools
  • Ability to handle multiple clients and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong sense of responsibility; ability to work independently under minimal supervision
  • Client oriented, strong interpersonal skills, and a positive attitude dealing with people
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Proactive and adaptable to changing work environments
  • Willing to be assigned in Grace Park East, Caloocan City.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From Php23,000.00 per month
