JOB SUMMARY

As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you are responsible for managing the full cycle of accounts payable operations, including receiving, verifying, and processing invoices. You ensure the accuracy of financial documents, reconcile vendor statements, and maintain up-to-date records of all transactions. Additionally, you track purchase orders, manage payment schedules, and process payments to suppliers, customers, and other vendors in a timely and accurate manner, while adhering to company policies and accounting standards.

A. In this role, you'll be responsible for the following tasks:

• Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including vendor liaison and payment checking.
• Manage vendor relations and build effective partnerships.
• Investigate and resolve problems associated with the processing of invoices and purchase orders.
• Receive, investigate, and resolve a variety of routine internal and external inquiries concerning account status, including communicating the resolution of discrepancies to appropriate persons.
• Conduct spot checks and tests for reporting discrepancies to instill internal control.
• Provide reports on payments, cash situation, payables, and overdue to management.
• Assist in month closing and ad hoc projects as needed.
• Assist in streamlining and improving its financial transactions and systems

B. Strong Candidate's experience and qualifications will include:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounts payable principles
• High level of accuracy and exceptional attention to detail
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Proficient with various technologies and accounting software applications
