Requirements

  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Tekla Structures.
  • Solid background in structural steel detailing.
  • Strong ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings.
  • Familiarity with Australian standards is a plus.
  • Experience in AutoCAD or Revit is an advantage but not required.
  • Exposure to laser scanning and point cloud data is a plus but not essential.

  • Capable of working independently and managing projects from start to finish.
  • Excellent drawing and presentation skills.
  • Strong English communication abilities.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Develop 3D models of structural steel using Tekla Structures.
  • Coordinate with consultants' 3D models, architects, and engineers' drawings.
  • Prepare assemblies, single-part drawings, and marking plans.
  • Generate IFC models and digital files for automated steel processing.
  • Provide Tekla data to support digital set-outs onsite.
  • Collaborate with project managers, clients, and consultants.
