We are seeking a highly motivated IT Support Specialist to join our IT Team. As the IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for the implementation of IT support strategies to ensure seamless operations, improve system performance, and enhance overall user experience. You will also be responsible for managing helpdesk tickets and troubleshooting technical issues to provide timely and effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide initial support and troubleshooting for IT-related issues.
- Serve as the first point of contact for end-users seeking technical assistance.
- Respond to incoming calls, emails, and instant messages from the Studco Australia Team promptly.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Assist with basic network troubleshooting (e.g., connectivity issues, printer problems).
- Perform password resets and manage user accounts.
- Escalate issues to 3rd party IT support as needed, following up on tickets and keeping the user informed as necessary.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as software updates and patches.
- Install and configure new hardware and software as required.
- Provide clear and effective communication with end-users.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through professional and courteous support.
- Create and update technical documentation for common issues and solutions.
- Maintain inventory records for hardware and software assets.
Key Requirements
- Basic understanding of computer hardware and operating systems (Windows, Windows Server, MacOS).
- Familiarity with common software applications (Microsoft Office, antivirus programs).
- Experience with VOIP phone systems and other cloud-based applications.
- Basic knowledge of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Php40, Php48,000.00 per month
