  • Facilitate toolbox meetings and record various topics and attendance.

  • Verifies compliance and safety requirements of all direct workers or contractors prior to starting their certain tasks.
  • Acts an advisory capacity to the management team, contractors/subcontractors, and supervision with regard to the health and safety environment.
  • Implement programs for the company associated with health and safety, by government requirements and in compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Standards.
  • Ensure compliance with DOLE regulations and safety standards.
  • Aim for a target of Zero LTI (Lost Time Injury) and recording of Safe manhours
  • milestone.
  • Verifies that all tools and equipment are adequate and safe for use.
  • Oversee and conduct regular safety inspections and audits.
  • Promotes safe practices at the job site.
  • Enforces safety, health, environment, and security guidelines.
  • Trains and carries out drills and exercises on how to manage emergencies.
  • Conducts investigations of all accidents, incidents, and near-misses.
  • Conducted and prepared Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) or Hazard Identification Risk Assessment and Control (HIRAC).
  • Establishes HSES standards and policies as needed.
  • Watches out for the safety of all workers and works to protect them from entering hazardous situations.
  • Responds to employees' safety concerns.
  • Coordinates registration and removal of domestic waste/ debris and hazardous waste.
  • Inspect the site to ensure it is a hazard-free environment.
  • Report any unsafe acts and unsafe conditions and take corrective actions and countermeasures through SOR (Safety Observation Report).
  • Apply first aid treatment in case of minimal injuries.
  • Coordinates and supports company health personnel or any member of the safety committee or (ERT) Emergency Response Team.
  • Support companies/contractors in providing welfare facilities for workers/employees.
  • Impose an internal (WSO) Work Stoppage Order or work suspension if imminent danger to life and health is determined.
