About the role

Southern Arms Corporation is seeking a talented Accounts Receivable Officer to join our dynamic team in our Cagayan de Oro office. This full-time role is crucial in ensuring the efficient management of our accounts receivable and maintaining positive cash flow for the organisation.

What you'll be doing

  • Overseeing the end-to-end accounts receivable process, from invoicing to collection
  • Handling customer billing, account reconciliations and credit control activities
  • Monitoring and following up on overdue payments to ensure timely collection
  • Identifying credit risks and implementing appropriate credit management strategies
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts receivable transactions
  • Generating detailed reports and analysis on accounts receivable performance
  • Collaborating with the finance team to improve cash flow and minimise bad debts
  • Providing excellent customer service to clients throughout the accounts receivable process

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an accounts receivable or credit control role, preferably within the manufacturing industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve accounts receivable issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
  • Organised and detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy
  • Proactive, adaptable and able to work independently or as part of a team
