About the role

We are seeking an experienced Compensation & Benefits Officer to join our dynamic team at Southern Arms Corporation in Cagayan de Oro, Misamis Oriental. As a Compensation & Benefits Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and administration of the company's compensation and benefits programmes. This is a full-time position and will play a crucial role in supporting our commitment to providing competitive and equitable rewards to our valued employees.

What you'll be doing

  1. Administering and maintaining the company's compensation and benefits programmes, including salary structures, incentive schemes, and insurance policies
  2. Analysing and benchmarking compensation and benefits data to ensure the company's offerings remain competitive and aligned with industry standards
  3. Collaborating with the HR team to develop and implement policies and procedures related to compensation and benefits
  4. Providing guidance and support to employees on matters related to their compensation and benefits
  5. Preparing and presenting reports on the company's compensation and benefits programmes to management
  6. Staying up-to-date with relevant labour laws, regulations, and best practices in the field of compensation and benefits management

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience in a compensation and benefits role, preferably in the human resources or remuneration and benefits industry
  2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make recommendations
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with employees at all levels
  4. Thorough understanding of labour laws, regulations, and best practices related to compensation and benefits management
  5. Proficient in the use of HR information systems and data analysis tools
  6. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
