Job Summary

The Finance Officer is responsible for managing and monitoring the company's financial activities, including budgeting, accounting, and reporting. The role ensures compliance with accounting standards and internal policies, supports decision-making through financial analysis, and safeguards the company's assets and financial health.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, statements, and reports.
  • Oversee cash flow, disbursements, and banking transactions.
  • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
  • Assist in budget preparation, monitoring, and variance analysis.
  • Conduct regular financial reconciliations and audits to ensure accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, government regulations, and internal controls.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and government agencies as needed.
  • Provide financial data and analysis to management for decision-making.
  • Implement cost control measures and recommend process improvements.
  • Support management in strategic financial planning and forecasting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA license is an advantage but not required.
  • At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail, integrity, and confidentiality.
