About the role

Reporting to the General Manager, this full-time Operational Manager position with Plus Eighty One Bar and Restaurant Corporation' is a key role responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of this vibrant restaurant and bar establishment located in the heart of Makati City Metro Manila. As the Operational Manager, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the business, contributing to its continued growth and success.

What you'll be doing

  1. Manage and lead a team of supervisors, servers, bartenders, and other front-of-house staff to deliver exceptional customer service
  2. Oversee inventory management, cost control, and budgeting to maximise profitability
  3. Implement and monitor operational procedures to ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations
  4. Develop and implement staff training programs to upskill the team and maintain high standards of service
  5. Collaborate with the executive team to analyse performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive strategic initiatives
  6. Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner
  7. Assist with the planning and execution of special events and promotions

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar operational management role within the hospitality industry
  2. Proven track record of leading and motivating teams to achieve operational excellence
  3. Strong understanding of inventory management, cost control, and financial reporting
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with staff, customers, and external stakeholders
  5. Ability to work well under pressure and make quick, informed decisions
  6. Proficiency in using hospitality management software and point-of-sale systems
  7. Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field
