Job Overview

The
Operations Manager
will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency across the organization, with a strong focus on managing
customer service operations
and enhancing the overall customer experience. The role requires an experienced leader who can work closely with cross-functional teams, manage resources effectively, and drive operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the e-commerce platform, ensuring seamless order processing, fulfillment, and delivery.
  • Lead and manage the
    customer service team
    , setting performance goals and ensuring prompt, professional handling of customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Develop and implement operational policies, processes, and SOPs to ensure efficiency and compliance.
  • Monitor KPIs across operations and customer service, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  • Collaborate with logistics, marketing, and IT teams to optimize workflows and customer experience.
  • Manage vendor and third-party service provider relationships to ensure service quality.
  • Prepare and present operational performance reports to senior management.
  • Drive initiatives for process automation and operational scalability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum
    5 years of operations management experience

    e-commerce platform or digital retail environment

  • Proven track record in
    customer service leadership
    and managing high-volume inquiries.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in using e-commerce platforms, CRM tools, and customer service software.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, start-up-like environment.
