Job Summary

Sophos is a global leader in advanced security solutions. The Compensation & Benefits Manager role collaborates with HRBPs and the broader HR organization to enhance and standardize corporate global compensation and benefits strategies and programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead market analysis, including assessment of compensation surveys for the APJ region, to develop pay ranges and update strategies as needed.
  • Participate in global compensation and benefits surveys to ensure competitive practices are maintained.
  • Partner with the Global Compensation and Benefits team in process management of global merit, bonus, and equity cycles, including budget modeling, system updates, training, reporting, and support of approval processes.
  • Design and manage benefits programs, including benefits administration for the APJ region.
  • Work closely with HR Analytics on dashboards to support decision-making and performance measurement.
  • Lead the development and delivery of training/communications on compensation and benefits programs.
  • Provide guidance to Talent Acquisition on competitive offers.
  • Utilize tools that support compensation and benefits programs and initiatives, and work with HRIS to align systems with compensation and benefits needs.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of relevant compensation and benefits experience.
  • Strong analytical, project management, and process management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks and adjust to shifting priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Extensive knowledge of compensation and benefits best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and interact with all levels of management in a professional and positive manner.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Experience with SuccessFactors, CompXL, and/or survey management tools is a plus.
  • A demonstrated ability to translate vision into action, manage multiple priorities, improve operations, and maintain positive and productive relationships while delivering results.
  • Strong leadership skills, including the ability to consider multiple audiences, bring people along, and drive change throughout the organization.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office, including PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Relentless focus on quality and accuracy.
