
HR Assistant- Compensation

Job Description :
The HR Assistant will handle compensation and benefits administration with a strong focus on timekeeping. This role ensures accurate payroll processing, maintains employee records, and assists in implementing HR policies related to pay and benefits. The position requires keen attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to coordinate effectively with employees and management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily timekeeping and attendance records
- Validate and process employee timesheets/overtime/leave forms
- Prepare and check payroll data for accuracy before processing
- Administer employee benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, HMO, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with government-mandated benefits and company policies
- Maintain accurate and updated employee compensation and benefits files
- Assist in responding to employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits
- Support HR audits and reporting requirements
- Coordinate with finance/accounting for payroll disbursements
- Provide administrative support to HR functions as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field
- At least 1–2 years of experience in HR, preferably in compensation & benefits with timekeeping exposure
- Knowledge of labor laws, government-mandated benefits, and payroll processes
- Proficient in MS Excel and HRIS/timekeeping systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of employee information
- Strong organizational and time management skills
