Job Title: Community Development Partner

This role serves as the primary liaison to local churches, strengthening ownership, capacity, and resources to minister effectively to children and youth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote awareness of children's needs and prioritize child protection.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to serving, respecting, and empowering churches.
  • Enhance church ownership and capacity through developmental approaches.
  • Foster reflection and planning with church partners to improve capacity and maturity.

The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Social Sciences, or related fields, accompanied by at least 5 years of experience in community development or partnership management. They should also be an active member of a local church, passionate about serving children and churches.

To succeed in this role, one must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to build strong relationships with church leaders and communities. A deep understanding of child protection and development principles is essential, as well as a passion for empowering local churches to serve their communities effectively.
