Overview

Partner Development & Contract Management Officer at First Multi-tech Industrial and Development Corporation. Position summary: Oversee the unit of Partner Development and Contract Management under SCD by identifying suitable vendors, negotiating with vendors to secure the best prices for products and services, and ensuring that vendors fulfill their contractual obligations.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Department in developing and implementing vendor and contract management policies and procedures.
  • Assist the Department in determining accreditation requirements for vendors of supplies, materials, and equipment by evaluating current vendor management programs and identifying ways to improve them.
  • Develop and sustain long-standing relationships with company-approved vendors.
  • Monitor vendors to ensure compliance with company policies, attend company meetings, and inform new vendors of their responsibilities.
  • Locate vendors of materials, equipment or supplies, or services, and interview them to determine product availability and terms of sales.
  • Ensure maintenance of complete records on possible and accredited vendors of materials used by the Company including items available, costs, price breaks and the vendor contact for appropriate information and quoting.
  • Represent the company in negotiating contracts and formulating policies with suppliers.
  • Ensure that suppliers comply with the parameters of the Supply and/or Service Agreement, and execute delivery in accordance with the agreement.
  • Resolve vendor or contractor grievances and claims against suppliers; cancel vendor contracts should the company vendors fail to perform adequately.
  • Oversee the vendor database.
  • Collaborate with warehousing or logistics to prevent stockouts, overstocking, and disruption in supply or services.
  • Attend company and vendor/supplier meetings.
Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management, or Bachelor in Business Management

Experience: At least eight (8) years of proven working experience in a similar capacity
